of Christ and Him only. In
this dark world there are mountains of distractions. There
are mountains of distractions within you called temptations trying to pull you
down and destroy you. There
are mountains of distractions from outside of you called temptations trying to
pull you away from the Lord. In
Christ and through Him, Christ can enable you and empower you to use your mind
for His glory and for His love. According
to His will and according to His love, Christ will give you the power to direct
your mind only to His will for you. Christ
will empower you to control the contents of your mind. Christ
will lead you in your thinking. Christ
will guide you in the use of His wisdom and His truth. Always
think first, last, and only of Christ Jesus. When
sinful thoughts invade your mind, think first, last, and only of Him. When
you are beaten to death by temptations over which you seem to have no control,
Christ will help you think first, last, and only about the terrible beating He
took for you. When
you think you cannot stand up under the terrible burdens of your life, Christ
will help you think first, last, and only about the terrible burden He carried
for you to the cross. Praise
