I know you sometimes have thoughts of failure.

Remember you have not always failed me or failed yourself because my will has been at work within your life.

Of all the places you wanted to go, I have not taken you to any of them.

Of all the people you wanted to meet, I have not permitted you to meet any of them.

Of all the excitement you wanted, I have not let you taste any of it.

Of all the accomplishments you wanted to achieve, I have not permitted you to accomplish any of them.

When you get selfish, you think you have failed yourself and failed me.

However, you know in your heart you have not failed me.

You know in your heart, I have been with you every day and every hour of your life.

You know in your heart, when you did sinful things I was grieved but still waited upon you to come back to me.

You know in your heart, when you turned and walked away from me I never gave up on you.

You know in your heart, I love you beyond measure.

You know in your heart, I give you power you could not imagine.

You know in your heart, I bring you to places in my kingdom you did not know.

You know in your heart, I bring you to people and you bring people to me who need your witness.

You know in your heart, I bring you my glorious peace so you may savor my reality when you want excitement to escape what surrounds you.

You know in your heart, I have given you great unseen work to do.

When you see only poverty in your life, I will show you my blessings.

When you must make decisions, I will let you reflect upon my sacrifice for you so you can always decide to do my will rather than your own.
