About a special place with the Father:
Matthew 16:27 For the Son of Man is going
to come in his Father's glory with his angels, and then he will reward each
person according to what he has done. (NIV)
When you live for Christ and suffer for Him,
you are placing your life on His altar of sacrifice. By your faithfulness to
Christ in
trials, you send praises to the very heart of God. You may not know how much you
mean to God. You may not know how much of His great work you enable as you
suffer. However, when you see Christ face to face, upon the first day of your
eternal life with Him, He will show you your special place with the Father. For
in your eternal home with the angels, there is now a special place being made
ready just for you by God Himself. God is touched and moved immeasurably by your
sacrifice. Your sacrifice for Him moves God's innermost heart. You touch the
heart of God when you refuse to knuckle under to Satan's attack upon your body,
mind, heart, or soul. God's will is for you to be blessed forever with the
in-filling of His love and might. Even now, even in the darkness of Satan's
attack, God reaches down and touches your heart and soul. |
