A Daily Devotional About answers that uplift: Psalms 20:1 May the LORD answer you when
you are in distress; may the name of the God of Jacob protect you. (NIV) When we are alone with our
thoughts: When our hope is gone: We look up and ask God why
He has left us alone. In our times of darkness, if our heart is open, His gentle
and loving voice fills our heart. When we question God's motives or seek answers
regarding His wisdom, He is already within us lifting us out of our darkness.
Every answer to every question we could ever ask is rooted in love lifting us
up. Every answer to every question we could ever ask brings us closer to knowing
the power of God's love. Our questions are too often centered upon us instead of
being centered upon God. Instead of asking God to help us, our greatest help comes when we ask
God to help others. When we focus upon others, there is an uplifting power of
God's love pouring down upon us. When we find God's answers about selfless
devotion to Him, we find an uplifting power sailing our heart, mind, and soul
into His kingdom within us. |
