A Daily Devotional About being made perfect in our imperfections: Colossians 1:28 We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ. (NIV) All of us are different from each other. All of us have unique finger prints and a unique DNA. We are like snowflakes, all incredibly different and incredibly complex, wonderfully made, yet alike in that we are all made of the same spiritual stuff. We are not only different from each other, we are also imperfect. We are born imperfect and we remain so throughout our earthly life. However, when we accept Christ, we become spiritually perfect in His eyes and in His heart. The ultimate perfection of the human life is to discard the dark sin upon ones heart and rest clean and righteous before Christ Jesus. God is love. In Christ there is no darkness. We become perfect in the bond of love we share with Christ, with others, in His love. When we take on Christ and live for Him, we take on His perfection of love.
