A Daily Devotional About being stronger and stronger in the power of God: John 5:8 Then Jesus said to him, "Get up! Pick up your mat and walk." (NIV) Compared to God, all of us are weaklings. However, God is our being of love. Because He loves us, God wants us to be stronger rather than weaker. God wants us to be stronger in our faith, stronger in our love for Him, stronger in our love for others, and stronger in many other ways. In God and through Him, we can be stronger. To be stronger in the power of God we must reach up to Him. When we are willing to reach up to Him, He will reach out to us and give us strength and power. When we reach up to God, He wants us to touch Him and immerse our being in Him. To touch God and find His power, we are not to just hold our hand up in the air. We are to place our life in His hands. We are to place all we are in His love and grace. In supernatural terms, we are to become weaker in surrender so He can make us stronger in victory. |
