A Daily Devotional About belief: Psalm 119:66 Teach me
knowledge and good judgment, for I believe in your commands. (NIV) How much do you believe? How strong is your belief? Do you have doubts? We all have questions, don't we? For example, "How did God create something from nothing?" Our questions could go on until we see Him and find all our answers. However, just because we have questions does not mean we cannot believe with strength. A strong belief requires we put our whole being into His hands. A strong belief requires we trust Christ so much we surrender up to Him all we are, all we have, and all we could ever be. In truth and in total honesty, the forces of evil, darkness, and sin do not want you to surrender your life away. The forces of evil, darkness, and sin want to convince you to possess your life, to keep your life, to grab all you can while you can. The forces of life want you to devour life like a mad animal. However, when you devour life like a mad animal, life devours you backand you go mad in the process. However, every hour, every day, He is calling you to believe with so much trust you will put everything into His hands. |
