A Daily Devotional About building for God: Ezra 1:3 Anyone of his people among
you--may his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem in Judah and build
the temple of the LORD, the God of Israel, the God who is in Jerusalem. (NIV) You have many
opportunities each day to build for God. Each day there are innumerable
opportunities to do His work. The greatest work you can do for God is to be His
humble child. In being His humble child, you will see and respond to the needs
of those around you. His church shall not rise in the world based upon how much
you get out of the church for yourself. Christ's church shall rise based upon
how much you put into His church for others. The unmet spiritual needs of people
are the needs of Christ. Our Lord yearns to feed His sheep through your life.
The more of Christ you keep in your heart, the more of His work you will be able
to do with your hands. If you truly love Christ in self-control and
self-discipline, you have no excuse for any lack of effort in doing His work.
The more you bring His love to others, the more of His love you possess. |
