(NIV) Have you ever been devastated by the selfishness and ego of another person? If you think for a moment, you have likely never been hurt or devastated by another person's humility and simplicity. Humility and simplicity in a person blesses the life of others. Starting today, continuing for the rest of your life, give others the gift of your humility and simplicity. Humility and simplicity within your heart costs no money. Humility and simplicity can cost you attention from others, fame, and fortune. However, giving others the gift of your humility and simplicity is the same gift Christ gave us on the day He was born. The love Christ began giving to us on the day of His birth is grounded in humility. Christ's place of birth was the most humble of places. Bless the life of others by giving what Christ gave to you by giving to others in humble and simple ways. |
