A Christmas Daily Devotional About God's Christmas power: At
the time of Christ's birth, the power of God seems to have been displayed in
ways we do not normally associate with power. There was no room for Mary and
Joseph at the inn. Persons of power would have owned the inn. Mary and Joseph
were sent to a cave where animals were kept. Persons of power would have made
sure Jesus was born in a palace. Later, a decree went out to find the baby Jesus
and murder Him. Persons of power would have destroyed the threat to the
Christ-child. God's power at Christmas or any other time of year has little
resemblance to our ideas of earthly power. God's real power is the power of love
inside the human heart. God's power, created Christ. God's power, created you.
Christmas is celebrated around the world because of God's power of love. This
Christmas and every day of the year, you need the power of God to see you
through the day. When you open your heart to God then you begin to understand
how much He loves you. When you understand how much God loves you then you have
found The Power.
