A Christmas Devotional About Christ's gift of power to follow his guiding hand: Have you ever watched Road Runner cartoons? If so, you have seen the familiar parts of many of these cartoons where Wile E. Coyote speeds along until Wile E. runs off the edge of a cliff. Of course Wile E. hangs in mid-air until the eventual plop. Too many of us lead a life of mad dashes from one moment to the next. A day after Christmas, the stores will be jammed with returns and more returns. Bargain shoppers will be out in droves. However, this message is not about shopping or Wile E. This message is about letting Christ lead you where He wants you to go. Christ came into the world so you would more clearly understand He really does want you to let Him be a leader in your life. No matter how difficult your life can get, let Him lead you where He wants you to go. When your attention gets diverted, come back to Christ. When you are pushed and pulled in all kinds of ways, put your hand in Christ's hand. Hold Him in your heart and listen to His still small voice. |
