About
Christ's desire to see you healed:
Matthew 8:1 When he came down from the
mountainside, large crowds followed him. 2 A man with leprosy came and knelt
before him and said, "Lord, if you are willing, you can make me
clean." 3 Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. "I am
willing," he said. "Be clean!" Immediately he was cured of his
leprosy. (NIV)
When
we are sick, hurting, and broken:
We forget about God being with us.
We forget about God being on our side.
We forget about God pulling us in His direction.
We forget about God wanting to touch us.
We forget about God wanting to heal us.
We forget about God wanting to make us whole.
However, when we are sick, hurting, and broken we are to fight back against our
darkness. We are to fight back against our darkness and make sure we get into God's will for us. In our afflictions, we must make every possible effort
to travel in the direction of God. In our afflictions, we must make every
possible effort to travel in the direction of God's will. In our afflictions,
God's power can give us an extra boost. In our afflictions, God's power can
give us the extra push we need to get over the hills and through the valleys we
all can face every day. God always pulls us in His direction if we are adamant
about pulling in His direction. When we are sick, hurting, and broken�we must
be adamant about letting Him pull us and lead us in His direction.
