A Daily Devotional About
the consequences of fearlessness and steadfastness: Psalm 112:7 He will have no fear of bad news; his heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord. 8 His heart is secure, he will have no fear; in the end he will look in triumph on his foes. (NIV) What if we were always afraid? If we were always afraid we would not make progress. If we were always afraid we would not learn and we would not grow. If we were always afraid we would not utilize our fullest potential. If we were always afraid we would never reach for the stars and remain ever bound to live in our cave. To fully live our life, we must muster up the courage to live in spite of our fear. Once we have found the courage to live in spite of our fear then we find we have nothing to fear at all. To fully live our life, we must live a life of steadfastness and unmoving solidarity. To fully live our life, we must live a life full of gratitude and thanksgiving for the blessings God pours over us every hour. To fully live our life, we must live a life full of trusttrust in God, trust in others, and trust in ourselves. To fully live our life, we must be strong enough to live a life where we keep moving forward even when we perceive our trust has been violated. In the end, at the very end, our trust will be rewarded in victory. |
