A Daily Devotional About during our times of judgment… Acts 27:23 Last night an angel of the God
whose I am and whom I serve stood beside me 24and said, `Do not be afraid, Paul.
You must stand trial before Caesar; and God has graciously given you the lives
of all who sail with you.' (NIV) All of us must stand against the powers of Satan seeking to destroy us, destroy our families, destroy our churches, and destroy our society. No matter how great the darkness might be, we have the Light of the world within us, beside us, under us, and over us. There is no power of darkness, no power of judgment, and no power on earth capable of quelling the Light. The Light cannot be put out. The Light cannot be put on trial because the Light was put on trial long ago. The Light was innocent and pure beyond any person's ability to know or understand. Although innocent, the Light was murdered. The Light sacrificed His life for the sins of all persons. Although innocent, the Light underwent torture and death so we can know without a doubt we are loved and we can have eternal life. The Light was among us then. The light lives within us now if we want Him and accept Him into our hearts and lives. The light was, is, and will always be the son of God. The light is Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. |
