A Daily Devotional About faiths unlimited potential Mark 9:23 24 " `If you can'?" said Jesus. "Everything is possible for him who believes." Immediately the boy's father exclaimed, "I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!" You and I are rational persons. At least you are rational (they dont know about me). As a rational person you take in facts, process them in your brain, and draw or make conclusions. This process occurs so rapidly and so often you dont know the process is going on. As a rational person, do you really and truly believe and totally accept the idea on a factual basis that "Everything is possible for him who believes." If you are typical, you are probably quivering, wavering, equivocating, and so on about Jesus statement. Rational persons find it hard to truly believe everything is possible. However, with our unlimited God, all things are possible because God has no limits on what He can do. In other words, God can do the impossible in ways we think are impossible at impossible times and at places we think are impossible. God is not constrained or limited by our reality. God exists both in our real world reality as well as His own unlimited reality which we do not know much about. When we accept our unlimited God can and does work in another unlimited reality then we must accept for our unlimited God the impossible is indeed possible. For us everything is possible if we believe in our unlimited Christ who lives in this other unlimited reality. Factually and rationally, "Everything is possible for him who believes." |
