About God speaking:

2 Samuel 23:2 "The Spirit of the LORD spoke through me; his word was on my tongue. 3 The God of Israel spoke, the Rock of Israel said to me: `When one rules over men in righteousness, when he rules in the fear of God, 4 he is like the light of morning at sunrise on a cloudless morning, like the brightness after rain that brings the grass from the earth.'

Do you hear the sound? Do you hear the sound of God speaking? Everyone can hear God speak, but you must have a special heart. You do not need a physical ear to hear Him. You DO need a humble heart to hear His voice. When you are selfish, you hear only the silence of your own thoughts. When you are selfish, you are alone, for God cannot speak to your heart when you have turned away from Him. When you rule over your life to live each minute trying to do only God's will, then God moves in your heart and you can hear Him speak. Will you hear an audible voice? Some people do hear the audible voice of God while most people do not. The voice of God speaking to you this minute moves through your heart and life. The moving of the love of God within your spirit speaks volumes. When you are willing and you want God to touch your life, His wisdom and truth will flow into you.
