(NIV) All of us who have surrendered our will and heart to Christ have exchanged our old sinful self for a new self. We are new persons only because we have made this divine exchange. When we are new persons in Christ we must make every effort to show the world our new nature by honoring God in how we act, how we behave, how we dress, and how we present ourselves in our attitude. We honor God by being love-filled, forgiving, contrite, humble, and positively upbeat in our attitude. In Christ, each of us has unlimited opportunities to serve Him in this life. We also have unlimited opportunities to serve Him in our eternal home. Our outward appearance in dress, demeanor, attitude and behavior shows the world we are surrounded by His love and grace. |
