A Daily Devotional About the hope of nations in perilous times� Matthew 12:21 ��In his name the nations will put their hope.�" Every age brings perilous times upon the human race. War, pestilence, plague, poverty, natural disasters, and other kinds of perils are a part of human existence. Each of us faces our own personal perilous time. We all face dangers from others, from our environment, and from our natural process of aging. Where is the hope of the world in perilous times? Where does the world go for safety and security when safety and security are lacking? At the present time, only a tiny remnant of the world put their hope in Christ. Tragically, very few of the people of planet Earth are putting their hope in the Rock of Ages. There will come a future time when all nations will put their hope in Him. In the present moment, in your present perilous times, you too can put your hope in Christ. Christ is our savior. We call Him our Savior because He saves us from the perilous eternal darkness wanting to devour us. Call Christ your savior today and in Him you can put your hope. |
