A Daily Devotional About how time is on our side… Psalm 25:4 Show me your ways, O LORD,
teach me your paths; 5 guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my
Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. 6 Remember, O LORD, your great mercy
and love, for they are from of old. 7 Remember not the sins of my youth and my
rebellious ways; according to your love remember me, for you are good, O LORD. (NIV) The clock does not stop. The great wheel of life keeps turning no matter what happens to us. No matter how much we want to make things stop so we can get off our merry-go-round, our ride keeps turning. There are some things in life we can control and some things we cannot. Each of us gets closer to the grave every second. We cannot control our aging. As the clock moves forward, we can pray and make a wonderful spiritual connection to our Lord no matter whether the times are good or bad. We are all placed on our merry-go-round of life without our consent. However, we can ride with a heart full of hope and promise because every day holds the promise of Christ's return. Every day holds His promise to meet us in our heavenly home. He will meet us with open arms. He will give us a tour of our heavenly mansion made just for us. For those of us who know Christ, time is always on our side. |
