A Daily Devotional About how to handle conflict and disappointment 1 Colossians 7:15: But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace. The wisdom from God in the above verse is about how you handle conflict and disappointment. You can be caught off guard in so many situations in life. In the push and pull of everyones life, there is inevitable conflict. You have conflicts with others, conflicts within yourself, and yes, even conflicts with God when He wants you to go North and you want to go South. Every day there are these continual times of conflict. What Satan hopes to get from you in these times is a loss of control. Satan wants you to get as upset as possible and to let your temper flare up and your anger to burn hot. What God wants from you is for you to let the conflict melt away. Let the disappointment and hurt of life go away. Do not be bound up or be in bondage by the hurts or conflicts of life. When these disappointments, hurts, and conflicts happen then say a little prayer, call upon Christ, and He will calm the raging seas and storms within you and you will have peace. |
