About the instant availability of God:

Romans 5:2 Romans 5:1 (NIV) Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. (NIV)

Sailing into outer space, climbing the highest mountain, or knowing all there is to know about God, does not make God more available to you than He is right now. God is instantly available to you, day and night, 24/7. God lives within you, so there need be no distance between you and God, unless you put a distance between you and Him. You cannot escape God's presence but you can deny Him. Time is nothing to God so it takes no time to reach out to God and find Him�in an instant. We sit too long in our isolation from God and from His love. Our isolation from God and from His love is of our own making. If God is not instantly available to you this happens because you are not instantly available to God. To have God instantly available requires you to have an open heart to His instant touch and His instant presence. There is no time delay with God. God has too much power to dawdle. Our job is to be instantly responsive to God who is always instantly available to us. In addition, instead of seeking a god who instantly conforms to us, we need to be willing to instantly conform to what God wants from us and wants for us.
