letting the Holy Spirit guide and teach you: John 14:26 But the Counselor, the Holy
Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will
remind you of everything I have said to you. We don't need the wisdom of God because we have our own wisdom. We don't need the wisdom of God because we have the wisdom of the world from which we can draw upon and use. We have our own strength. We have our own ideas. We have our own goals. We have our own purposes. We don't need guidance. We don't need help. We don't need to be taught. We don't need an open heart. We don't need an open mind to God's truth. We don't need the Holy Spirit because we have our own spirit. We don't even need God. We don't need to be taught because we know everything already. We are not weak because we are strong enough without God. We don't need God unless we get slammed against the wall by life and then we only need Him for a brief time while we recuperate and get back to normal. Wait a minute!!!! Many people live out these statements. Although these same people know these statements are lies, many people live like these statements are the truth. The problem in living out these lies as the truth is there will come a time when there is an end to things as they are now. Then what? |
