About the lie and the truth: Our being alienated from God…

Col. 1:21 Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. 22 But now he has reconciled you by Christ's physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation (NIV)

Look at the opposite of this verse: Once you were alienated from God and were the enemies of God in your mind because of your evil behavior. And because you were alienated from Him, He will not reconcile you, He will not die for you, and there is no way you can ever be holy in his sight. You will stand before God with every blemish and carry with you every accusation.

Does any of this lie resound or circulate in the world today:

Yes, we were aliens to God's love but God loved us anyway.
Yes, we could not look upon God but God looked upon us.
Yes, we could not be where God was but God was where we were.
However, Christ built a bridge between us and God.
Christ built our bridge to God and eternal life by sacrificing His own life upon the cross.
Christ is the bridge. Christ is the way. Christ is the truth. Christ is the life.
