A Daily Devotional Psalms 15:2 He whose walk is blameless and who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from his heart 3 and has no slander on his tongue, who does his neighbor no wrong and casts no slur on his fellowman, 4 who despises a vile man but honors those who fear the LORD, who keeps his oath even when it hurts, 5 who lends his money without usury and does not accept a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things will never be shaken. (NIV) About living a truthful life… In the spiritual or religious world, the truth remains the same because the human heart and soul remains the same. Man fell from grace and with his fall man fell from a constant physical walk with God. Man fell because his heart was infected with a sin virus still living today. This sin virus has caused murder, wars, and destruction at every turn in the history of man on earth. This truth about the sin virus will never change. What can change is the heart of man. The heart of every man and woman can accept Christ and the love Christ brought to the world. When we accept the truth of Christ in our heart, then our heart is changed. And with a changed heart, we can live out the truth in our life, and receive the blessings of living a truthful and righteous life. |
