A Daily Devotional About multiplying your life… Galatians 4:13 As you know, it was because of an illness that I first preached the gospel to you. 14 Even though my illness was a trial to you, you did not treat me with contempt or scorn. Instead, you welcomed me as if I were an angel of God, as if I were Christ Jesus himself. (NIV) God gives us opportunities each day. No matter where we are in life, God gives us the power to do more and be more. Our sin holds us back from multiplying our life. An elderly person confined to a wheel chair and unable to take care of himself or herself, who cannot get out or go places, has an opportunity given by God. One person in this circumstance may sinfully curse every moment and sinfully curse God. Another person in this circumstance may praise God and count each moment as a blessing given by God. How we multiply our life is not determined by the results produced in visible terms. How we multiply our life is determined by how much of a child of God we are willing to be. When you do only what God wants you to do while you are confined to a wheel chair, you will bless the life of thousands or millions of others by your prayers. You can bless the life of those people who do not know you exist. You can bless the work of Christ in the world even in your last breath. |
