A Daily Devotional About planting good seedsGal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. The opposites of the fruit of the Spirit are hate, despair, war, impatience, cruelty, evil, disloyalty, crudeness, and no self-control. Most of the social and business laws of our world deal with the consequences of humans exhibiting these opposites of the fruit of the Spirit. As these opposites become more prevalent in our society and in our world, civilization unravels. As these opposites become more prevalent in a persons life, the more the persons life unravels. Today, as you go about your life, commit yourself to planting seeds in others producing the good fruit of the Spirit. Plant the seeds of love by showing love. Plant the seeds of joy by bringing laughter. Plant the seeds of peace by refraining from arguing or refraining from being disagreeable. Plant the seeds of patience, kindness, and goodness by being these traits. Plant faithfulness by living up to your vows and promises. Plant gentleness by being gentle and helping others to be self-controlled by being self-controlled yourself. |
