A Daily Devotional About remembering Christ needs you on the earth… 1 Peter 1:8 Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, 9 for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls. (NIV) (1) Christ needs
you. (2) Christ will miss you on the earth when you go home. (3) Unbeknownst to
you, you have influence in a world gone astray. (4) The world cannot get along
as well if you are not here. The four previous statements are reality. In your
real world there are invisible connections between you and others. In your real
world there are invisible connections between you and Christ. Christ needs you on the
earth. Christ needs you to connect to others so they see Him and know Him as a
real live person. Christ needs you to live out His teachings so others will
believe in Him. You may never see Christ's work being done in others. However,
Christ needs you to pray for others each day so He may do His work in them. Your
little seed of faith may not seem like much to you, but to Christ, your little
seed of faith holds the power of the universe. From your little seed of faith,
Christ can move mountains. |
