About the results produced
from doing the right thing…
Psalm 111:8 They are
steadfast for ever and ever, done in faithfulness and uprightness. 9 He provided
redemption for his people; he ordained his covenant forever-- holy and awesome
is his name. (NIV)
Doing the
right thing before God has a beautiful and wonderful consequence. Doing the
right thing keeps our world together on both a personal and global level. When
we do the right thing we help others keep hope alive for the future. When we do
not do the right thing before God in all we say, think, and do, then darkness
comes into our life and the life of others. Living under the many pressures of
life, we can easily wilt and turn selfish, greedy, angry, and vengeful. However,
when we turn selfish, greedy, angry, and vengeful, we reap a terrible
hurt-filled reward for ourselves and others. When we live under the many
pressures of life and we remain steadfast by doing the right thing, God is
glorified. When we do the right thing, other people get a chance to find God. In
our righteousness, other people can live in peace and get a chance to experience
love. We sometimes live our life as if there is no tomorrow. In truth, there is
always a tomorrow. Our tomorrows may have many pressures. However, when we love
God with all our heart, all our soul, and all our might, we can turn our trials
into times of many blessings for God. We can turn our trials into blessings for
others which become blessings for ourselves.
