seeing past the moment… Psalm
41:13 Praise be to the Lord, the God of Things are never as bad as they seem. Things are never as bleak as they look. Even death is not final if you have accepted Christ. In the trials and adversities of your life, you need to see past the present moment. You need to look up and see beyond the clouds. Using God's gift to see past the present moment you can decide how you will see the future. You can decide whether you will see the future as full of God's hope and promise or whether you will see the future as full of final and ultimate doom. The present moment is only a flickering sparkle of light surely gone from our consciousness just as one moment follows another. In seeing past the present moment, you must look ahead to Christ surely walking with you as you trod His path. A future moment without Christ is a moment of dread. A future moment with Christ is a moment you can look forward to embracing with all your heart and soul. Oftentimes beyond our comprehension, a future moment with Christ leads to eternal moments of joy, peace, and happiness of which there is no equal here on earth. |
