About why suffering for the Kingdom is worth our effort…
2 Thessalonians 1:5 All this is evidence that God's judgment is right, and as a result
you will be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are suffering. (NIV)
In the reality of our life, since the dawn of creation, there is no free lunch. In
this reality, we must work for what we want. There is a price for everything in
our life. Nothing is
free. Even the Kingdom of God is not free. To enter and remain in the Kingdom of God,
there is price..you must repent and surrender your self to Christ. To spread the good
news about the coming of Christ and His Kingdom of God you must suffer. The opponent, the
adversary named Satan will not idly sit back. Satan will make you suffer, but your reward,
even in the here and now, surpasses all the glory of earth. If you will pray and meditate
on the blessings of God, even in the dark times of life, Christ will reveal in you the
fact any suffering is worth living in His Kingdom. Any suffering is worth telling the
world about Him.
