A Daily Devotional About the force of God's will… Matthew 19:29 And everyone who has left
houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or fields for my
sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life. 30 But
many who are first will be last, and many who are last will be first. (NIV) When you cross over to God at the time your earthly body stops working, you will experience a wonderful expansion of your spirit or soul. Your soul wonderfully expands into Christ's beauty. All of your earthly potential becomes real in Heaven. Your life should be a mission for God. Every waking moment should be a moment you live to do what Christ wants you to do. Obviously, we fall short of the mark. Some days we do better at being who Christ wants us to be than we do on other days. However, no matter how far short of the mark you fall, Christ reaches down with His nail-scarred hand and picks you up. What you must remember to do is reach up to Him. For no matter how much Christ wants to reach out to you to pick you up, if you do not reach back to Him, what you think is impossible, stays impossible. The force of God's will is like the wind. Your heart, mind, soul, and will determines whether you go with the wind or whether you go against the wind. Going against the will of God causes great storms to appear in your life. A person caught in corruption and malfeasance would indeed say they are caught in a storm. Today, what you must try to do is to go in the direction of God's will rather than against His will. Going in the direction of God's will gives you an opportunity to see the impossible become real. |
