About touching another life…

James 1:27  Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. (NIV)

You may live alone. You may work alone. You may see few people. However, you can touch another person’s life for God. To touch another person’s life for God you must want to reach out and touch someone. To touch another person’s life for God requires you have faith God loves you and faith God loves every person on earth no matter who they are or what they may have done. Conversely, you may be surrounded by many people each day. You may work with many others. You may interact with many others every day. When you are surrounded by many people each day you may want to retreat from touching others when you see so many of them. However, every person you see needs to be touched for God through you. When you touch another life, the life of the person you touch is changed for the better. When you touch another life with kindness, caring, and compassion, the hurt, isolation, and anxiety of another person is reduced or eliminated. When you touch another life for God, the other person’s life is made free of some of the worries and cares of this life. When you touch another life for God, God in turn touches you and gives back to you a multitude of blessings greater than the blessings you give away in His name.
