About turning into a new person:

Romans 6:4 We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. (NIV)

Are you the same old you? Are you the same old person you have always been? You don't have to be the same old you. You don't have to be the same old person you have always been. You can turn into a new person and let God remake your heart and mind. You do not have to be who you were yesterday. Christ demands a great turnaround in your life. You can experience this great turnaround and have Christ in your life only if you turn away from being the same old you and turn into being His person or His "you." When you accept Christ into your life, all things will be made new, not because all things changed but because you changed. When you accept Christ into your life, you will have the same eyes, the same ears, and the same body you have always had, but everything will be made new. No matter where you are in your physical life, in your spiritual life, or in your Christian life, God wants you to be a new you, to be a growing you, to be an ever-renewing you. Every hour of every day turn to Christ and live in Him as He makes you into a new person every hour of every day.
