A Daily Devotional About using the laws of God.. Proverbs 1:19 Such [death] is the end of all who go after ill-gotten gain; it takes away the lives of those who get it. (NIV) There are immutable laws of God, immutable laws of life, and immutable laws of reality. These immutable laws cannot be changed, modified, or abridged. For example, we cannot take shortcuts and do workarounds with the laws of God to get money or material things not belonging to us (stealing) without suffering the consequences. We cannot break the laws of God without paying a severe price. When we go against the laws of God, we may be alive in the body but we are dead in heart. This week, live your life so as to glorify God. Live your life by living in His love and doing His will as you obey His laws. Find His joy, peace, harmony, and power by sailing the rough seas of life by using His laws as tools to succeed, rather than regarding His laws as a prison from which you want to escape. |
