A Daily Devotional About walking the walk… Philippians 4:9 Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me--put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you. In our faith, you would think all we do is talk. Just as the words you are reading are talk in print, we also talk in our church services. In God’s eyes, as well as in the apostle Paul’s eyes, the talk is not as important and as the walk. Many people know the words of God in their brain. A few people have even memorized the Bible from cover to cover. However, knowing the words cover to cover in our brain is of little importance if we do not show the words in the way we live, work, and play. Actions do speak louder than words, especially if you are a Christian. There is no shortage of God’s words in our world. The world does not need just more words. The world needs to see the evidence of how the words are the truth in our life and in our heart. |
