A Daily Devotional About when you can't start over: Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the
beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline. (NIV) There are times in life
when we seem to have lost everything. There are times in our life when we seem
to be in a place where cannot possibly start over. When you think you cannot start over, start from
where you are. Even when you have little, build upon what little you have. When
you think starting anew is impossible, see Christ as the goal. Christ is the
goal because He is always the One for whom we live. Christ is the One for whom
we must be willing to die. When you cannot start over, help others start over.
Soon you may find you have established a new start for yourself. Encourage
others in their quest to start over, for you know how much they need
encouragement. Let others see Christ in you. In the darkness of their life, many
people need to find His light only you can show. In your spirit, you can start
over every minute. In your spirit, you are not limited by the physical,
psychological, or emotional limitations of life. In your spirit, an unlimited
reservoir of God's spiritual power waits for you to access the reservoir and put
the reservoir to use. |
