(NIV) God provides each of us the opportunity to acquire various kinds of knowledge. Each of us determines how much of a blessing we receive in life according to how much knowledge we use. We also determine our future by using the knowledge we acquire. A person who lives in wisdom receives more blessings than a person who lives in ignorance. Each of us has the opportunity to serve God with wisdom. Each of us has the opportunity to bless the life of others with our knowledge. In serving Christ, you are to serve Christ and live out God's commands upon your life in humble adoration. You are God's servant. However, you have an ego goading you into thinking you can do better than God. Your ego can goad you into thinking you are the master of life. The wisdom and power God gives you is not given to you to make you selfish. God's wisdom is given to you so you will bless others in His name. All the experiences, wisdom, truth, and knowledge you possess can be used for the Lord's good works. |
