A Daily Devotional About your Lord who overcomes… John 16:33 "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." At every turn in your life, whether the times are good or bad, you are in need of the Lord's touch. Trials and tribulations may befall you. However, when you see Christ's unseen hand touching your heart, you are soothed. You may be overcome with worry, but when you think of Christ on the Cross, you can be at peace for Christ has overcome the world. When you see the enemy coming at you, you may shake and quiver but you shall hear Christ's voice. When you are under attack, Christ will give you a calm and resolute spirit. Your God is a Precious God who sent His Precious Son to give you the power to overcome your trials. At this very minute, Christ can give you the power to defeat every fear, conquer every doubt, assuage every hurt, and overcome every affliction. With Christ, you can rest your hope, your life, and your all in Him. With Christ, you can wait patiently on Him. At the end of all things, you will shout in victory because you have accepted Christ into your heart and life. |
