About your shining moments…

Matthew 25:21 "His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!' (NIV)

In most of our lives, there are few, if any, shining moments. Few people get to stand on a winner’s platform and be crowned a victor. Few people get to feel the full flush of victory in their life. In the world, even when the victors are crowned, the victors find out sooner or later there is more to life and living than standing on a platform to receive a medal. However, in the real world where we face suffering, pain, and death, we can have shining moments when we shine the light and love of God out to the world. We are all called to be Christ’s ambassadors. In being His ambassadors we are to deliver His shining light of love, truth, wisdom, and eternal hope in salvation. As His ambassadors, as we shine His light of victory out to others, there will come a time when we will be crowned a victor. There will come a time when we not only have a brief shining moment but we shall stand in Christ’s shining eternity as we hear Him say, “Well done, good and faithful servant!”
