About being still:

Ex 14:13 Moses answered the people, "Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. 14The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still." (NIV)

Being still and letting the Lord have His way through you is easier said than done. Being still is difficult for most people. Letting the Lord have His way in your life takes enormous courage. We want so desperately to run our life our way. In many cases we must be the warriors, but sometimes we must let the Lord be a warrior with us or for us. God requires each of us to use discernment in deciding whether we should be still or make war against our great adversary. When Christ came to earth, Christ showed each of us how being still and surrendering to the Lord's will is not easy. However, being still and surrendering to the will of God can lead each of us to eternal life.
