About Christ as our resource
John 14:18 I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. (NIV)
In the darkness of life, you can feel like an orphan. When things are going well, everything is fitting into place, and you really have all of your life together then you might not feel like an orphan. But for many people, even when everything appears to be going well, and everything is fitting into place, and their life is together they are still orphans and they know it. When you face the ultimate truth of life, you will find in your life there is just you. No one really knows all you go through even if they have been through it all themselves. But God knows you. God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit knows every detail of every second of your life. And you are embraced by the love of God so you are not left feeling like an orphan.
