A Daily Devotional
This Devotional Is Related To Dependency And Co-dependency Issues. Rules Of Godly Common Sense Apply.
About finding emotionally needy people attracted to you..
Proverbs 31:20 She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy. (NIV)
If emotionally needy people are attracted to you, be cautious you are not also emotionally needy. All of us should know how our needs impact us and influence how we act, think, and believe. In this regard, we all want to be wanted. We all want to be needed. We all want to be liked. However, some of us go too far in the wrong direction to be wanted, needed, and liked. Some of us may find emotionally needy people attracted to us, thus giving us a sinful sense of popularity which in turn sinfully helps us feel wanted, needed, and liked in the wrong way. If emotionally needy people are attracted to us then we must use their attraction to us to instill a sense of power and independence within them. Emotionally needy people need a greater sense of power and independence. If you find emotionally needy people are attracted to you then commit yourself to empower them and help them help themselves.
