A Daily Devotional
About God being bigger than
problems:
Ephesians 2:4 But because
of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ
even when we were dead in transgressions--it is by grace you have been saved. (NIV)
How can someone as big as God
not solve problems? All of us have problems and issues. Some of us have problems
and issues bigger than us. Some of us have problems and issues overwhelming our
ability to cope. We must remember when our problems and issues seem to get the
best of us, or our problems and issues seem to have taken control of our life,
God is bigger than our problems. God is bigger than our issues. God is even
bigger than our ability to comprehend our issues or problems. God's bigness, in
some way, shape, or form, is the solution to our problems or issues. As an
example, to get to a point where we can let God heal us we must admit to God and
to ourselves we need healing. To admit to God and to ourselves we need healing
requires we turn away from our life and turn away from our separation from God
causing us to be sick. When we turn away from our overwhelming problems and
issues God will work within us to bring solutions and answers.
