About going crazy over small things:

Luke 10:41"Martha, Martha," the Lord answered, "you are worried and upset about many things, 42 but only one thing is needed. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her." (NIV)

Although we can often handle big events, some days the small things of life pile up and drive us crazy. Small things can pile up on us and we can be smothered under a mountain of trivialities gone wrong. We have all had one of those days when everything goes wrong. We often get buried under small things because we do not see the big picture of what is going on in our life. If we could see how important we are to others and to God, the small things driving us crazy would not matter as much.

When things pile up, remember people need you. People need you to reflect the love, kindness, caring, and compassion of Christ. When small things pile up and you are underneath the pile, remember God can do some very humorous things just to keep you sane. When things pile up, it may be God's way to tell you how you could be a little better off if you were just a little nutty instead of being dead serious too much of the time.
