About how Christ reveals sin so sin can be dispelled:

Romans 7:13 Did that which is good, then, become death to me? By no means! But in order that sin might be recognized as sin, it produced death in me through what was good, so that through the commandment sin might become utterly sinful. (NIV)

Saul approved the killing of Stephen by stoning. There was sin in Saul like there is sin in every one of us. To come into the Light of Christ and live out Christ's love in our life, we must let the good in us erase the bad. We must let the good of Christ erase the sinfulness in us. The Light of Christ's love dispels the darkness of sin. When you are tempted, twisted, and torn by sinful influences, bring in the love of God to defeat those dark forces. When the evil of sickness, pain, and torment tears away at your soul, call upon the name of Jesus. He will bring His love and light to you and He will fill your heart.
