About lack of faith:

Romans 3:3 What if some did not have faith? Will their lack of faith nullify God's faithfulness? 4 Not at all! (NIV)

Our lack of faith does not determine whether God loves us. God will always be loving, kind, and caring, whether we are faithful or not. God's love is unconditional. God's unconditional love means God loves us no matter what we do or how little faith we have. In other words, God always loves us even when we do not love Him. God's redeeming power and love is exemplified by Christ's going to the cross for each of us. Christ's love for us will remain the same for eternity. Our lack of faith does not diminish the power of God in Heaven. However, our lack of faith does diminish and does damage the influence of God through us as we interact with and touch the life of others here on earth. Most importantly, our having faith dramatically touches, in supernatural ways, the life of literally millions of others all over the world. Our willingness to humbly pray for others blesses others. Even when our faith is weak, our prayers help the power and love of God flow into the life of those we pray for each day.
