About the power to start over�

Nehemiah 2: 17 Then I said to them, "You see the trouble we are in: Jerusalem lies in ruins, and its gates have been burned with fire. Come, let us rebuild the wall of Jerusalem, and we will no longer be in disgrace." 18 I also told them about the gracious hand of my God upon me and what the king had said to me. They replied, "Let us start rebuilding." So they began this good work. (NIV)

When all seems lost�

When everything is in a shambles�

When all you worked for, dreamed about, hoped for, and paid an enormous price to possess has been destroyed�what is left?

What you have left is the power God gave you to rebuild and start over. Perhaps you are saying to yourself you are too tired, too old, too poor, too weak, too feeble, too anything, to start over. When things crumble remember you CAN start over. Maybe you do not want to begin again. However, you must remember you CAN start over. You DO have a choice when all seems lost. Remember you live in a world and realm of partial sight. You live in a realm of partial sight because you cannot see the full Kingdom of God around you and within you. You cannot fully see God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and the angelic warriors of Heaven. You cannot fully see God's great and wonderful grand design for the world, and for His chosen children, including you. For what may seem to be a shambles of a life to you at the present moment can most certainly be the foundation for a great and wonderful work given to you by God.
