1 Peter 1:6 In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. 7 These have come so that your faith--of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire--may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. With all the ups, down, twists, turns, and adversities of life, you may think you do not have the power in you to give Christ your very best. Oh, you may want to give Him your best, but battling against all the opposing forces in life make winning life's battle incredibly difficult. The dark forces in your life want to pound you down into the ground. Without playing upon words, we are all going to be pounded down into the ground in the form of going into the grave. What may seem a victory for Satan when we die, can be turned to victory for Christ by giving Christ your repentant soul. The best part of you is your repentant soul. How you carry your life in your fight against Satan is of critical importance to Christ. You may think you do not have the power or strength to fight on. You may think no one cares or no one knows about your battle. However, someone does care about whether you win or lose. Someone does know about your battle. Someone does want you to win. This "someone" has a name above all names. "Someone's" name is Jesus.
