About taking a stand for good and against evil:

Hebrews 1:9 You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy." (NIV)

Right living or righteousness always pays off. There is a dividend for always doing the right thing. There is always a benefit for standing for good by coming against evil. In a world full of deceptions, illusions, and lies, we have difficulty deciphering what is good and what is evil. However, when we see evil, we must attack evil with love and kindness. When we see goodness we must embrace the good. We must carry the good of God with us every hour. We are the human warriors in the spiritual war between good and evil. As the battle lines are blurred in every age between what is good and what is evil, the small and humble folk of the world are the ones who carry the small candles of good. The small humble folk of the world keep the power of God alive in the hearts of nations. The small humble folk giving their heart and life to defeat evil keeps evil from winning. When you repent and turn toward Christ, His commission and His mission for you is to be humble and give His light and love to others. Today, pray a little more, give a little more, comfort a little more, and encourage others a little more.
