About worry and living in Heaven�

 Matthew 6:28 "And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. (NIV)

The inhabitants of heaven do not worry, fret, or stew. Why not? In heaven, everything is taken care of or secured by God. In heaven, there is no dark future ahead. Nothing bad can happen in heaven.

People in heaven do not worry. They do not worry because they have nothing to concern them. Worry and heaven have nothing in common. Worry and heaven cannot co-exist together. Worry would be absurd in heaven because heaven is totally immune from bad things happening. You may not be totally immune from bad things happening, but you can be insulated from the pain and suffering of life. We can all possess a great insulator to protect us and keep us safe. Christ is our protector and insulator. He will be with you and see you through all the difficult parts of your life.

 Further thoughts about worry:

Your heart can search. When your heart is troubled with worry, seek out the joy of Christ in your darkness of worry.

Your heart can seek. When you are burdened with worry, seek out the peace of God.

Your heart and mind can resolve to act. Resolve today to put aside all your foolish worries.  Instead of your foolish worries, think on the love of Christ being with you now and forever.

When you worry, remember Christ loves you. Remember His love conquers all things, including the object of your worry.
